Our Premium Wafers
High-quality wafer materials crafted to support advanced, high-performance semiconductor applications globally.
CLEAN ROOM WAFERS are semiconductor wafers that are processed and handled in cleanroom environments, which are controlled spaces with minimal contamination from dust, airborne microbes, and chemical vapors. Cleanrooms are essential in semiconductor manufacturing because even microscopic contaminants can lead to defects in electronic devices.
We offer the following Cleanroom Wafers:
- Silicon Wafers: The most common type, used in a wide range of electronic devices, including integrated circuits and solar cells.
- Compound Semiconductor Wafers: Made from materials like gallium arsenide (GaAs), indium phosphide (InP), and gallium nitride (GaN). These wafers are used in high-frequency and optoelectronic applications.
- Silicon Carbide (SiC) Wafers: Used for high-temperature and high-power applications, such as in power electronics and optoelectronic devices.
- Germanium Wafers: Although less common than silicon, these wafers are used in specialized applications, including infrared optics and high-speed transistors.
- SOI (Silicon-On-Insulator) Wafers: These wafers have a thin layer of silicon on an insulating layer, which helps to reduce parasitic capacitance and improve performance in integrated circuits.
- Wafer with Surface Treatments: Cleanroom wafers may undergo various surface treatments to enhance their properties for specific applications, such as the application of anti-reflective coatings for photonic applications.
- Functionally Graded Wafers: Used in advanced applications, these wafers have varying compositions or properties across their thickness to improve device performance.
